ABOUT L+P INTERIORS

L+P Interiors is known for their creative and methodical take on design, rooted in a process of ‘storytelling’ that guides their work from start to reveal. Whether undertaking a ground-up build, renovation, or a furnishing project, L+P creates functional, deeply personal homes that incorporate clients’ lives—and dreams—into each space.

Led by a skilled team of designers and project managers, L+P Interiors oversees every aspect of the design journey. From initial drawings and renderings to art consultation and interior architecture, they coordinate with artisans and specialists as needed, streamlining what can often be a complex process.

Operating from their headquarters in Sausalito, L+P Interiors serves clients throughout California —including Wine Country and Monterey—along with growing clientele in Houston, Aspen, the Rocky Mountains, Texas Hill Country, and areas beyond.

OUR PROCESS

DISCOVERY + CONCEPT

While no two projects alike, we start each project with a discovery of the architectural vision and of the people who will inhabit the space. Collaboration and alignment are the cornerstone of each project, ensuring efficiency and mutual understanding.

DESIGN + DOCUMENT

Collaborative and meticulous creative planning is core to our design process. Thoughtful consideration is given to both form and function and we enjoy value engineering to align with project parameters. Documentation and partner planning are central to the project success.

EXECUTION + DELIVERY

Communication is queen. We maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the partnership with all parties involved - including a focus on budget tracking, schedules and execution oversight with trade partners. We take as much pride in our rigorous project management as we do the creative design of the project.

MEET FOUNDING PRINCIPAL, ANSLEY MAJIT

A home should do more than look beautiful — it should make you feel beautiful, balanced, and at ease within it. My work is about creating spaces that elevate daily life: homes that glow with color, flow with energy, and reflect the individuality of the people who live there.

That belief was shaped by my own early experiences. I grew up in homes that were carefully kept and filled with beauty, yet often felt unsettled or out of reach. It taught me that true design is not just about appearances, but about creating spaces that welcome, support, and inspire.

My path to interiors began with a love of storytelling and culture, studying literature and Italian before living abroad. In Italy, I was struck by the contrast between ornate, layered traditional homes and sleek, contemporary ones—and fascinated by how the two could merge into something extraordinary. Later, my work in fashion sharpened my understanding of proportion, color, and the way materials transform both people and spaces. Just as clothing can be tailored to bring out someone’s best, interiors can be designed to make the people within them shine.

Today, as the founder and creative director of my firm, I bring together these influences to design homes that are both visually striking and deeply livable. Every project is an opportunity to create a space that feels grounding, inspiring, and uniquely alive for its inhabitant

Megan Bettor, Studio Director

Growing up with a family in the construction business, Megan has always loved a job site.  Renovations and remodels were a constant in her life and watching a project go from framing to finish laid the foundation for her love of the process.  After graduating from UCLA, Megan began a career in advertising and entertainment production that spanned more than 20 years, but her love of design and renovations continued to be part of her life through multiple home renovations both in LA and Marin County.  In 2021, she decided to blend her production skills and her love of design and joined the L+P Interiors team full time as the Studio Director.

Megan approaches each project with a clear vision and a keen attention to detail.  Her focus on budgets, timelines, strategic processes and general resource management is what makes our projects process as seamless and bespoke as the design and she values building strong relationships with clients, trade partners, architects and builders.  In her free time, she will be found traveling or spending time with friends and family.

Logan Ashton Wheeler, Studio Director

As Studio Director for Lark + Palm in Houston, Texas, I bring a genuine passion for art, design, and the quiet magic of thoughtful interiors to every project.

With roots in painting, I enjoy carrying that creative spark from canvas into living spaces—layering in color, texture, and intention to make rooms feel alive and personal. What draws me in most is the feeling a space creates: the calm it holds, the ease it offers, and how it quietly supports the people who call it home.

Whether shaping refined residential retreats or polished commercial settings, I blend artistic instinct with practical grace—choosing details that create balance, harmony, and that just-right sense of belonging. I love crafting timeless, tailored environments that truly reflect each client's world.

I welcome collaborations with clients in Houston and beyond, turning visions into spaces that feel inspiring, serene, and full of life. Let's make something beautiful together.

Born and raised in Houston’s Memorial area, I now live in River Oaks with my husband and our two dogs. When I'm not working, you'll find me painting in the studio, wandering galleries to spot the perfect art piece, or keeping active. These little rituals remind me why spaces with soul matter.

Malia Lucey, Junior Designer

Malia’s love of design began young as she watched her parents navigate their construction and property management business. This interest led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business.  Malia joined the L+P Interiors team as an intern and was quickly promoted to Design Assistant and now works as a Junior Designer.  No task is too big or too small, and she loves seeing designs grow from an idea, onto paper and into the world.

Malia loves that L+P considers blues and greens as neutrals and our focus on creating a collected space that reflects the people who will live in it. She is thrilled to be on a team of women who collaborate and support her growth as a designer and project manager.

In her free time Malia loves to explore new restaurants in the city or up in Healdsburg with her friends and family. She loves finding restaurants where she can appreciate the design just as much as the food and she looks forward to L+P’s future hospitality projects.

Melissa, Mainelli, Design Assistant

As a Design Assistant at Lark + Palm, Melissa brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative curiosity to every project. She studied Finance at the University of Florida and spent over a decade working as a business analyst, where she developed a deep love of problem-solving, systems, and thoughtful decision-making.

Drawn to a more creative path that still allowed her to use her analytical strengths, Melissa later pursued an Interior Design program through Berkeley. This combination of business rigor and design education shapes her approach to interiors: she enjoys untangling complex design challenges, supporting projects behind the scenes, and helping ideas move seamlessly from concept to execution.

Melissa is especially inspired by Lark + Palm’s colorful, playful approach to design and the firm’s ability to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal. She values working alongside such an experienced, collaborative team and is excited to continue growing her design skills while contributing to thoughtfully crafted, joy-filled homes.
